Can you prove that God exists?

Does God exist?  What a widely talked about subject!  I am assuming for this assignment that we are not using scripture but rather writing as if speaking to one who is extremely aquatinted with scripture.
This number one "argument" or proof that God exists in my mind would be creation.  It still boggles my mind how some can believe that a big bang or great shift in the earth could truly cause creation to appear.  Out my window I am staring at large spruce trees.  Some of their roots are popping in and out of the ground and some needles are turning brown as a result of the heat.  On one branch alone there must be hundreds if not thousands or green needles coming forth from a twig.  The trees are higher then any human could reach and it's roots deep enough to withhold great disastrous storms.  How could a bang allow these things to come forth?
My father used to work as a mechanic in a shop and one day a semi battery exploded in his face.  Not only was their great damage under the hood of the vehicle, enough to write off the semi, but there was also great damage done to my dads face, arms and chest.  I can't see how shreds of safety glasses and destroyed motor parts all over the shop could be seen as a bang that made something beautiful.  In fact I have yet to see a bang that ended up creating a live substance of any matter.
I have a huge heart for missions and last year I made contact with a couple whose main vision was to bring the gospel to groups of people who had never heard the word of the Lord.  It was difficult to get access into the country so during their two years of waiting they spent 6 months interceding full time for the gospel to go forth in that country.  Once they made it into the country they came across a village of believer's.  Once meeting the lady who was in charge the inquired about the faith in the village.  The lady had begun receiving dreams and visions during the 6 months the couple had set aside to intercede for the country.  She had the entire book of Psalms written out on paper in their language word for word.  She said Jesus had come and told her what to write down.
Upon hearing a story like this how can you say that God does not exist?  If He manages to bring the gospel to a group of people who have never seen a "white man" before and do not even know what the meaning of the word "bible" is how can you say He is not living and moving.
I do believe God exists and I believe there are countless ways to prove this.  However the greatest proof I believe is love.  The love of God sending His Son to die for us and the love of His people; the church.
